FLU Appointments

Flu surgeries are available from 18th September; if you are over 65 years of age or in a "High Risk" category, please contact the surgery to arrange an appointment.

Telephone Appointments 

 

We are very aware that our patients lead busy lives.  We now offer booked telephone appointments with a doctor. Many problems that don't require physical examination can be succesfully dealt with over the telephone.

On-Line Appointments 

You can now book an appointment with a Doctor via this web-site. Please telephone the surgery for your log on details.

Appointments for repeat prescriptions for the contraceptive pill.   These appointments can now be booked with Sheila Gay, our practice nurse.

Free NHS Health Checks

Everyone is at risk of developing heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and kidney disease. The good news is that these conditions can often be prevented. We now offer a free NHS Health Check to assess your risk and help you to take steps to maintain or improve your health. Everyone between the ages of 40 and 74 who has not been diagnosed with the conditions mentioned will be able to have a health check once every five years. We are not able to take repeat prescription requests over the telephone. You may however request repeat precriptions in the following ways

  • Hand in request in person at reception
  • Post request to us. if you include a SAE we will post it back.
  • Fax request including your name/ DOB/Address and medication required. Fax - 0117 9476854
  • Over the internet via the link on Home Page

Prescriptions will be ready for collection after 2pm, two days later. From time to time you may  be asked to see your doctor for a medication review.

Local pharmacies also offer an order, collect and deliver service. Ask them for details.
